Kirk Hammerton + St John the Baptist

Kirk Hammerton is just south of the A59, in fact there are signs to the church. Little doubt that for me this is one of the most intriguing churches I have seen in Yorkshire. I came here on the return from a campsite near York.
The memorial is to the south of the church and is on a diamond shaped roundabout near to the south entrance. Well maintained too. This is the link to the datastore for the church, fascinating place. The IWM link is 29940
Work in progress!
